Ciao! I'm Elisabetta
I've been in love with the world of wine for over three decades. My journey has taken me from the bustling wine shops of the 90s all the way to becoming a key figure in the international wine scene, both in import and export.
I got my start with Winebow, a top importer of Italian wines in the U.S. Those early days as an in-house Sommelier were an absolute blast—I traveled coast-to-coast, sharing the magic of Italy's finest wines with sales teams across the country.
My passion and hard work paid off when I moved up to become the Northern California manager, where I oversaw distribution and sales with a keen eye.
Driven by ambition, I took on a new adventure and helped a prestigious Italian winery break into new global markets.
From Canada to Scandinavia, Germany to Switzerland, and even as far as India and China, I've been there, building markets and training top sommeliers all over the world.
My global experience and strategic insights quickly made me a valuable player in these regions.
Education has always been a cornerstone of my journey. I proudly hold certification from the Associazione Italiana Sommelier (AIS) and a Summa cum Laude Master’s Degree in International Studies from the University of Florence.
Fun fact: I was the first Italian woman to ever work as a Sommelier for a U.S. wine importer!
To top it off, I even honed my communication skills with studies in Mindfulness and public speaking at UC Berkeley.
Outside of wine, I'm all about living life to the fullest. You'll often find me dancing ballet, cooking up mouth-watering Tuscan meals, running on the beach, or simply relaxing with a glass of fine wine and some blues music.
Most excitingly, I've now co-founded "Partners in Wine" with my long-time colleague and friend, Alessia. Together, we're leveraging our extensive knowledge to offer expert guidance and innovative solutions to wine lovers and businesses alike.
