I’ve built my career in hospitality, working across restaurants, wine, and spirits, guided by a deep curiosity for how people experience food and drink. My journey—from Los Angeles to Sonoma and now Italy—has shaped my perspective on wine, flavor, and the art of hospitality.

I began my career in Los Angeles, managing restaurants, bars, and nightlife venues. Those years gave me a strong foundation in hospitality and guest experience, but also introduced me to wine in a very practical way.
As a wine buyer and certified sommelier, I learned how to select wines, build lists, and—most importantly—how to communicate wine in a way that feels approachable and relevant.
Wanting to explore a different side of the industry, I spent five years working as a pastry chef, an experience that deeply influenced how I think about flavor, balance, and texture.

My career then brought me into luxury hospitality with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. During this time, I focused on developing beverage programs that combined technical precision with a strong sense of guest experience and storytelling.
Living in Sonoma County for three years was a defining moment in my journey. Working closely with local winemakers gave me a deeper understanding of wine at its source, from vineyard to glass, and reinforced the connection between place, people, and product.
Today, I am co-founder of The Ada Coleman Project, where I lead educational seminars around the world, and I continue to write and teach on wine, spirits, and hospitality. Now based in Northern Italy, I embrace a way of living where wine, food, and aperitivo are part of everyday life, and I share that perspective through education, mentorship, and curated experiences.
