Wine Events in Florence, Italy

This is not a typical wine tour.

We stay in Florence, exploring authentic wine boutiques focused on shopping, gifting, and seasonal selections.

You’ll get expert guidance on how to choose wines for your table or for gifts, like having a personal sommelier by your side.

The evening ends with an aperitivo in a hidden local enoteca — a relaxed, elegant Florentine ritual offered until Christmas.

Via Sant'Agostino, 50125 Firenze FI, Italy

Where we meet:
We begin in Piazza Santo Spirito, by the Medici statue — one of Florence’s most vibrant and authentic local squares.

What we do:
Join me for a guided evening through Florence’s finest wine boutiques — from an elegant enoteca featuring iconic Tuscan labels to a boutique shop known for rare, small-production, and unconventional wines. At each stop, you’ll enjoy curated tastings that reveal how Italians choose wines for the festive season, for gifting, and for their own tables.

What you will experience:
This is a relaxed, small-group walk designed to make you feel like a local insider. You’ll meet passionate wine merchants, discover hidden corners of the city, and end your evening with an aperitivo and Tuscan appetizers in a cozy Florentine enoteca known only to locals.

What you will learn:
You’ll gain practical insight into how Italians shop for wine, understand the differences between iconic and artisanal producers, and learn how to select, pair, and transport bottles like a sommelier. It’s an educational, elegant, and truly local way to experience Florence — one glass at a time
